Light rain
A little disturbance in the rice fields today by the resident geese and ducks, as well as a small gaggle of Canada geese also stopped by to check out the water. We had to get a little dirty again repositioning some of the rice shoots that came out and we floating. Not sure if the birds caused this or they just didn't get in tight enough during the transplant. Since we had to transplant into the water it was hard to see through the mud if everything was going in properly.
Otherwise all looked well out at the site.
Back at the office we're soaking the remainder of the rice seed that we have to plant in field two. It will be ready for planting just in time for the warm weather to come back at the end of the week.
