After approval to the site on Jersey Island the Ironhouse Sanitary District offered to have their employees on Jersey Island set up the site by clearing the property site of weeds, moving cattle fencing, creating berms around the rice fields, adding a water source and building in inflow and outflow areas to bring water in from the Delta.
Those items were a major under taking on the part of Jersey Island crew and a huge help to the Delta Science Center.
A big thank you goes out to ISD for sponsoring this part of the project and allowing us to use a small piece of their island for the study.
