Emille Kirk from UC Davis came out a couple of days ago and brought new seeds that she had already germinated in a bag for a few days. We reseeded all six greenhouses by just moving the bird netting and throwing the seeds in. We left what might have already started growing.
We decided to place some plastic along the ends where the winds were coming in on because the winds were adding rippling to the ground and digging in the seeds. Since it was going to be warm for a few days we hoped we would have a little time to do that because this is Oakley Science Week and we have already committing ourselves to setting up a big show on Saturday.
